Front Porch Sittin - I’ve always got a few things on my mind, but lately its mostly that I can’t understand that others don’t understand. Some things seem so obvious, yet so many seem oblivious. Maybe it’s perspective, maybe it’s willful ignorance and an intolerance to change.
Deeper In The Holler - There was a time when going out to eat meant that you put your best foot forward. It was an event, an occasion, something special, and you dressed for it.
Garden Report - We finally got some much-needed rain. I sound like that old country bumpkin who sits on the porch and looks out during a storm and says, “Whew, we sure do need this!”
Grandmaw’s Recipe Box - In Grandmaw’s own handwriting, I have a recipe for Milk Chocolate Walnut Bars. I think I have to make these over the weekend. Let me know if you do!
